When thinking about it more
isn't helping anymore

Professional headshot of Dr. My Vo, psychologist, providing therapy and assessments in California, Oregon, and Washington.
You may already understand yourself pretty damn well.
And you can still be stuck.

Maybe you can name exactly what's wrong. Maybe you can't — you just know something's off.

You keep thinking about the same things without getting anywhere. Your mind rarely seems to fully relax. Dating leaves you discouraged. Work takes more out of you than it used to. Or maybe life looks perfectly fine on paper, and you can’t quite explain why it doesn’t feel that way.

Sometimes, knowing you don’t want to keep feeling this way is enough of a place to start. You don’t need a tidy explanation. You don’t even need to know exactly what “it” is.

You can understand exactly where a pattern comes from and still get pulled into it when it happens.

Sometimes another perspective helps you notice what’s harder to see from inside your own experience. And that's when I come in.

I’m a psychologist sitting across from you, trying to understand what your experience is actually like — not just what it looks like on paper. I’m curious about what sits underneath the obvious problem. I’ll notice patterns, ask questions, offer another angle, and challenge you when it’s useful.

Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. There’s room for seriousness, curiosity, humor, and the occasional “Wait... why do I do that?”

Because understanding the pattern is one thing. Having it take up less of your life is another.
